Problem: The digital marketing team faces challenges with time management, resulting in missed deadlines, reduced productivity, and increased stress. These challenges negatively impact work quality and client satisfaction due to team members struggling to prioritize tasks, efficiently use time management tools, minimize distractions, and maintain consistent schedules.
Solution: The custom designed Articulate Storyline 360 training module will help enhance the time management skills of the team at Singing River Marketing. The training aims to provide learners skills and tools to increase project completion rates by 20%, ensuring more projects are completed on time and with high quality.
Audience: Remote digital marketing specialists employed at Singing River Marketing. They are of varied ages from 25-40 year old male and females. They all hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields. Some may hold advanced degrees or professional certifications in marketing or related fields.
Process: I used the ADDIE/SAM model with backward design to create a results-driven training solution. After identifying time management challenges through a needs analysis, I collaborated with SMEs to set clear, goal-aligned learning objectives.
I developed a detailed design document and storyboard, gaining stakeholder approval before building the module in Articulate Storyline and Canva. To reinforce learning, I created a job aid with practical problem-solution examples for easy reference.
Using an iterative approach, I refined the content based on feedback and aligned assessments with Kirkpatrick's Levels 2 and 3 to measure knowledge retention and skill application. This structured process resulted in a practical solution to improve time management and increase project completion rates by 20%.
Evaluations:
Level 2 Assessment- 3 knowledge checks inside the training and 5 scenario based graded assessment questions at the end of the training in which the learner needs to get 80% to pass with an unlimited number of attempts. Level 3 of interactivity.
Level 3 Assessment- Measure of the increase in project completion rates within deadlines. Interviews with Project Managers about the higher degree of productivity and deliverables being completed by scheduled deadlines by the digital marketing team. Interviews will be completed 3 months after implementation of training.

Problem: Gaps in employee and customer knowledge on aquarium setup and fish compatibility result in customer dissatisfaction and financial losses for the store.
Solution: The custom designed Articulate Rise training module will educate and train employees to assist customers on proper aquarium setups. The goal aims to reduce fish returns by 30% within six months, improving customer satisfaction and overall store performance.
Audience: All employees at "Pets R Us" including new employees, current employees, supervisors and managers. Once initial training, it will be an onboard training. Age and gender will vary. Most possess a high school diploma (customer service associates). Some have obtained a higher level education (management).
Process: Using the ADDIE model with elements of SAM and backward design, I ensured every component aligned with the learning objectives. A needs analysis revealed knowledge gaps in aquarium setup and fish compatibility, affecting customer satisfaction and profitability.
Collaborating with SMEs, I created a structured design document to guide development in Articulate Rise and Canva, focusing on interactive, practical content tailored to the store's needs. To reinforce retention, I developed a job aid with quick, actionable steps for employee reference.
Real-world scenarios, knowledge checks, and a final scenario-based quiz measured comprehension, informed by Kirkpatrick’s evaluation framework. Continuous SME feedback ensured alignment with performance goals, delivering a solution that reduced the return rate of dead fish by 30% within six months.
Evaluations:
Level 2 Assessment- Scenario Based Training Quiz at the end of the module, consisting of 5 questions. Users must answer 4 of the 5 questions correctly. Learners may retake the quiz as many times as necessary to pass. There are also 4 knowledge checks within the module itself.
Level 3 Assessment- There will be a 30% reduction in the return rate of dead fish within six months of implementing the training program. Supervisors and Team Leaders will see an increase in associates able to help customers with setting up a freshwater aquarium.
